Great share! The collection of these drug treatment centers is impressive.

Does Beau Monde actually cost you $96,000 a month?? BTW, why should they charge their guests per month? What is the incentive for the center in rehabilitating it's guests faster? I wonder.

So, what is the moral of the story? It's not just expensive to fall into an addiction but it is even more expensive to fall out of it, lol.

thanks for the post.
This seems to be a pretty big issue with some people, but sometimes recovering addicts are also paying for the privacy. "Celebrities" who attend rehabs like this are dealing with addiction issues, so having to deal with fans or being a distraction to others who are tying to get sober, can be detrimental.
Of course I think the main focus in a good rehab is to deal with how to stay sober long term...not just a clean up!

I feel that it is not all the expensive drug rehabs that are important, but a rehab center that understands the problem of the addicts and provides individual care through experienced professionals to help them recover from addiction is more essential.
Thanks for sharing intellectual information.

It's all relative, really. Just about every study that's been done in the last 10 years reaches the same conclusion: It's not the place, it's the person. The chances of anyone staying sober for one-year after inpatient treatment is about the same whether you paid for a mansion in Malibu or waited on a list for a bed at the Salvation Army.

Actually, the person who went through the Salvation Army has a slight statistical edge; the longer the length of primary care, the greater the odds of achieving that elusive first year. And the stats continue to get better for each subsequent year up to five, where it levels off.

Want to get sober? You have to stop using and drinking first. As silly as that may sound, to me it was Step Zero...and always the most difficult.

LOL! These look more like luxury vacation spots rather than Rehab Centers. A month long stay for 96k???? What it must be to be rich!

There are other choices out there than a hospital-like or absurdly expensive. I sought treatment recently at Spirit Lodge, a private residential center outside Austin, TX. It had amenities to make my stay comfortable, but also focused on what really counts, the program!

I would recommend it to anyone looking for treatment!

I would not not consider these places drug rehabs! They have lost the real meaning of what they are supposed to be doing, which is helping people and not overcharging them. The sad part is that even after paying these hefty amounts, there are quite a few who go back to drugs. So I guess only the rehab wins!
